"My husbands best friend's
ex wife gets $1200 a month in CS (he always pays) she doesn't buy the kids clothes,
necessities, they live in a small apartment (4 boys) and her other child from another man
whom she cheated on my friend with (his best friend). He has been fighting for custody for
5 years now. She has had more boyfriends then a soap opera! And he found a diary about 6
months ago that she wrote stating that she didn't even think the first son (now 14) is
his. It totally devistated my friend. He is a good father, baseball coach, always takes
them on his weekend and holidays, but the court for some reason can't see through her
lies. She is good at firing her attorney at the right moment so the judge can't make any
decision on the matter until she has new council! She is the epitome of a deadbeat mom.
Only cares about herself."
"The founder of ACES, one of the most influential groups that have
pushed for greater child support enforcement procedures, tried to have her children
adopted by her second husband, against the will of the father. The Appellate court
of Ohio turned her attempt down.
Basically she alleged that because she had not received child support for a year, and that
the father had not contacted them for a year, he had no right to object to his children
being adopted by her new husband. Believe it or not, this is legal under several
states' laws. The truth, however, was that she had actively interfered with all
attempts to contact the children by the father. Furthermore, the father had asked
the paternal grandfather of the children (who lived nearby) to open a savings account for
the benefit of the children, if he was ever able to see them. This account had $2100
in it at the time of the trial which had been sent by the father. The judge in the
trial did not allow this fact to be admitted into evidence. Subsequently, the judge
allowed the adoption, ruling against the father. The father appealed, and the
appeals court ruled in his favor. You can read it for yourself at http://www.ancpr.org/jensen.htm. You can

6/24/99 I was
the son of a dead beat mom and she just called today and said that she
never wants to see us again because she was presented with a bill of back
child support. My brother, dad and I have lived in a trailor for the
previous year because we can't afford better.....There is something to be
said for those fathers that LOVE and TREASURE their kids. This
is a wonderful site and I think that more should be put up because this is
a great way to vent.

"About a friend of mine: his ex left him. She took the girls and
moved out of state. She lived with a new younger boyfriend, who sexually abused the girls.
CPS called. My friend got custody."
"I, too, am a victim of PAS. My mother moved from Texas in
1963, when I was three years old. I did not see my father again until I was 11,
and then the next time I saw him I was 22. At 12, I was forced into
telling my father over the telephone that I wanted to be adopted by my stepfather, who
I was terrified of. I remember my mother telling me stop that look on
your face, it looks just like your father."

"My girlfriend's boyfriend fought in court for many
years until his daughter was 10 years old and he gave up parental rights.
After she turned 18 a chance meeting gave him the
information about where his daughter was. They hooked up and have a wonderful
relationship.
She had already decided not to have a relationship with
her mother anymore."
"My brother's ex was a drug addict. Court wouldn't give him
custody. Her boyfriend went to jail. She went to jail. My brother got custody. He's trying
to straighten out his daughter."
