5/5/2000 My ex emails me he's not mailing his share of
orthodontic expense cuz NV garnished his federal tax
return. He says
there are no arrears in CA, NV has no jurisdiction, and there are no arrears
collecting because the DA has reduced the court order to 25% of his
unemployment. He writes me he's made sure NV is out of the loop and
given them my new address. He said, "Calif. legal department is in
a slamming mode for Nevada again because it was determined over a year ago
between lawyers in Calif and Nevada, Nevada had no jurisdiction in this case,
hence had no right to file a claim against these monies, at that time, due to
a misinformation leak, over 22K. It's kind of like double jeopardy or
duplicity of punishment, that's illegal. I was told some people were dismissed
over the mess up then, for failure to follow the court order and follow the
proper procedures involved in confirmation and execution of that court order (
something about working off of hear-say ), well we will see what happens now.
You should or might have another $1600 coming, unless The battle between the
two DA Offices screw it up."
He emails me again, "I owe nothing as
far as Nevada should be concerned. The $1200 that was [arrears] from
years ago in court changes, was cleared up as of this years State return.
Nevada actions are fraudulent and irresponsible."
I email him, " *chuckle*
Like when NV and CA agreed NV had jurisdiction, you were supposed to drop the
CA action, you didn't tell Judge Nancy about CA and NV making the decision,
and lied to her about my salary and my wanting spousal?"
My ex
emails me, "It saddens me you find humor in your own lying and
constant miss truths, but don't worry you met all my expectations and there
has been no surprises."
I email
him, "You never could see
yourself in the mirror. CA and NV conferred agreeing NV had jurisdiction. With your own lying and constant miss
truths you didn't tell Judge Nancy Stock about that happening, lied
to her about my salary and wanting spousal support, and managed to have
an order of child support in NV and in
CA."
My ex
doesn't respond.

2/09/2001 He receives court papers that LA County is now in
charge of collecting support. My ex didn't realize that there wasn't a court order reducing child support
to 25% of his unemployment check He does now. The court order remains $866 + $30
arrears each month, so arrears were collecting. The DA's office collects
25% of unemployment, and doesn't complain as long as you're on
unemployment.
03/04/2001 I receive from my ex his motion for lowering child
support because of his lowered income.
03/17/2001 He receives my response.
04/02/2001 What happened in court.
